Plastic Waste

The materiality of the ”wave-like” arches utilizes waste collected from the ocean and creates unique terrazzo panels. Cafe visitors can sit amongst the panels and view the variety of ocean waste turned into vibrant architectural elements. Each panel is custom made and contains various types of plastics, meaning each arch has unique qualities and characteristics.

Trendy Space

The cafe creates a trendy atmosphere through the use of strategized lighting, graffiti, and unique seating and dining options. The furniture design utilizes plastic from the ocean for the finishes and creates a cohesive material palette throughout the space.

Ocean Theme

The cafe brings hints of the Busan beaches throughout the design. The repetition of the arches creates the feeling of riding the wave, and views from the second floor look out to the ocean. Visitors coming from the beach can enjoy a bakery item and a drink from the cafe while relaxing under the wave, while the plastic materiality can bring awareness to ocean pollution.

플라스틱 폐기물
카페 내부에 위치한 파도 모양의 아치는 바다에서 모아진 폐기물을 활용한 독특한 테라조 패널을 사용합니다. 카페 방문객들은 패널들 사이에 앉아 건축 요소로 탈바꿈한 플라스틱 조각을 볼 수 있습니다. 각 패널은 맞춤형으로 제작되었으며 다양한 유형의 플라스틱을 포함하고 있으며, 이는 각 아치가 고유한 특성과 특성을 가지고 있다는 것을 의미합니다.

트렌디 스페이스
전략적인 조명, 그래피티, 그리고 독특한 좌석과 식사 옵션을 사용하여 트렌디한 분위기를 만들어냅니다. 가구에 바다의 플라스틱을 마감에 활용하였고 이는 공간 전체를 응집력 있는 재료 팔레트로 만듭니다.

오션 테마
카페는 디자인 전반에 걸쳐 부산 해변을 함축하고 있습니다. 아치의 반복은 파도를 타는 듯한 느낌을 주며, 2층에서 바라본 밖의 풍경에는 바다가 있습니다. 바닷가에서 오는 방문객들은 파도를 맞으며 휴식을 취하면서 베이커리 아이템과 카페의 음료를 즐길 수 있고, 플라스틱 재질은 해양 오염에 대한 인식을 불러 일으킬 수 있습니니다.
